Serving Bukit Panjang, Senja & Cashew

Senja-Cashew Swimming Lessons

Weekly swimming lessons for kids and adults at Senja-Cashew Swimming Complex in Bukit Panjang — same coach every session, built around the national SwimSafer syllabus, and paced to the swimmer rather than the calendar. Beginners welcome, from a first nervous float to a Gold certificate.

The Same Coach, Every Lesson

Your child (or you) will train with the same coach every week, not a rotating roster of whoever's free. That continuity means real progress tracking — your coach knows exactly which skills are solid and which still need work, week to week.

Free Makeup Classes, Always

Missed a session because of school, work, or just a rough week? Just let your coach know — we'll find a free makeup slot, no forms and no penalty fees. One less thing to juggle in an already busy week.

What We Teach

Our Swimming Lessons in Bukit Panjang

Small classes, patient coaching, and a clear path from first splash to certification.

We run kids' and adult swimming lessons every week at Senja-Cashew Swimming Complex, in the shallower teaching pool rather than the competition lanes. Classes stay small on purpose — a beginner learning to breathe on the side of a stroke needs a coach watching closely, not shouting across eight swimmers.

Every class follows the national SwimSafer 2.0 syllabus, so the skills your child works on each week map directly to the must-see criteria assessors look for. Adults follow the same underlying progression at an adult pace, with none of the games and none of the pressure — water confidence first, then floating and breathing, then strokes.

Lessons run as weekly 45 to 60-minute sessions depending on age and class type. You'll swim with the same coach throughout, which matters more than it sounds: a coach who remembers that your son tenses up on a back float, or that your freestyle catch collapses when you tire, can pick up exactly where the last lesson stopped.

This is a straightforward neighbourhood pool — no slides, no wave pool, no weekend crowds — which is precisely why it works for teaching. When the time comes, formal SwimSafer practical assessments for swimmers here are usually booked at nearby Bukit Batok Swimming Complex, one of the island's centralised CAMS assessment centres, and your coach will help arrange it once a stage's skills are consistently solid.

Getting Started

How Lessons Work

Four steps from your first message to your first lesson.

Tell Us About the Swimmer

Age, comfort in water, and any past lessons. That's usually enough for us to recommend the right class type and starting stage.

Pick a Slot That Fits

We'll share available weekday and weekend timings at Senja-Cashew and match you with a coach whose schedule lines up with yours.

Start Weekly Lessons

Same coach, same pool, same slot each week. Your coach tracks progress skill by skill and tells you honestly where things stand.

Sit the Assessment

When the must-see criteria are consistently solid, we help you register for the official SwimSafer practical assessment at the appropriate CAMS centre.

Why Families Choose Our Lessons Here

What makes our classes work well for the neighbourhood around this pool.

One Coach, Start to Finish

No handovers, no re-explaining a fear of deep water to someone new. Progress compounds when the person teaching you already knows your history.

SwimSafer-Aligned From Day One

Classes follow the national syllabus from the very first lesson, so progress genuinely counts toward a recognised certificate — useful for the many schools that ask for it.

Schedules Built Around Real Weeks

Weekday evening and weekend slots, plus free makeup classes when school, work or a sick week gets in the way. No penalty fees, no forms.

A Quiet, Uncrowded Teaching Pool

Without a leisure attraction drawing weekend crowds, the teaching pool here stays calm and focused — useful when a beginner needs a coach's undivided attention.

Two Rail Lines, One Pool

Whether you're closer to Senja LRT or Bukit Panjang MRT interchange, the complex is walkable from both — convenient wherever in the estate you live.

Honest Progress Updates

You'll hear where the swimmer actually stands, including when a stage needs a few more weeks. We don't push anyone into an assessment to hit a schedule.
