Serving Bukit Panjang, Senja & Cashew

Swimming Lessons at Senja-Cashew Swimming Complex

Tucked within the Senja-Cashew Community Club development, this is Bukit Panjang's own neighbourhood pool — a straightforward competition, teaching and wading pool set-up, walkable from both Bukit Panjang MRT and Senja LRT. No slides or wave pools competing for attention here, just calm water and a genuinely quiet place to learn. We run kids' and adult classes here every week, from a first nervous float to full SwimSafer certification.

The Same Coach, Every Lesson

Your child (or you) will train with the same coach every week at Senja-Cashew Swimming Complex, not a rotating roster of whoever's free. That continuity means real progress tracking — your coach knows exactly which skills are solid and which still need work, week to week.

Free Makeup Classes, Always

Missed a session because of school, work, or just a rough week? Just let your coach know — we'll find a free makeup slot, no forms and no penalty fees. One less thing to juggle in an already busy week.

The Venue

About Senja-Cashew Swimming Complex

enja-Cashew Swimming Complex is part of the Senja-Cashew Community Club development in Bukit Panjang, sitting alongside a sport hall, gym and tennis centre under the same ActiveSG development. ActiveSG classifies it as a "Normal Pool" — a 50-metre, 8-lane competition pool, a shallower teaching pool, and a wading pool for young children, without the slides, wave pools or jacuzzis you'd find at a feature complex nearby.

That straightforward set-up is exactly what makes the teaching pool work so well for lessons: it stays genuinely calm and uncrowded, without a leisure attraction pulling everyone's attention away. The complex is walkable from two different rail lines — Senja LRT and Bukit Panjang MRT — and sits close to Bukit Panjang Plaza and Hillion Mall, so there's plenty to do before or after a lesson.

The complex is open daily from 8am to 9.30pm except Wednesdays, when it closes for full-day maintenance, with the competition pool opening early on Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday mornings from 6.30am for lap swimmers. Formal SwimSafer practical assessments for swimmers here are usually booked at nearby Bukit Batok Swimming Complex, one of the island's five centralised CAMS assessment centres — your coach will help arrange it once a stage's skills are ready.

Why Families Choose Us Here

What makes lessons at this specific complex work well for the neighbourhood around it.

SwimSafer-Aligned From Day One

Classes are structured around the national SwimSafer syllabus from the very first lesson, so progress genuinely counts toward a recognised certificate — useful for the many schools that ask for it.

A Quiet, Uncrowded Competition Pool

Without a leisure attraction drawing weekend crowds, the competition pool here stays calm and genuinely focused — useful when a beginner needs a coach's undivided attention.
